• G reen, blue and red are the most common colors for D VD cables. Some models may vary colors,
please consult the user’s manual for your D VD Player for more information.

Be careful not to confuse the red D VD cable with the red audio cable. It is best to complete one set
of connections (D VD or Audio O utput) before starting the other to avoid accidentally switching the
cables.

You m ust set the V 2 C O M P O N E N T-IN on the m enu to “Y E S ” for proper display of the D V D
signal (see page 38).
•
See page 18 for instructions on programming your remote control to operate the basic functions of
your D VD player.
•
NOTE:
Progressive D VD Players (players with an output scan of 31.5 KH z) will not work properly
with this television.
Connecting to a DVD player
Headphone Connection

You can connect a pair of headphones or earphone to the television using the headphone jack on the front
panel.
1) Plug a headphone/earphone jack into the headphone jack on the television’s front panel.
