Advanced Operations
When both pictures and music are stored on your USB device, select
Photo Viewer
(
) or
Music Play
( ) using the

buttons and press the
OK
button.
When only pictures (JPEG or BMP) are stored,
Thumbnail View
will appear. When only music
is stored,
Music List
will appear.
Notes:
•
Gently pull out your USB device from the MEDIA PLAYER terminal after finishing the
Photo
Viewer
or
Music Play
menu.
•
Use the USB cable supplied with your device. Do not use a HUB or USB extension cable.
•
Media Player
cannot be guaranteed to work with all USB Mass Storage Devices. It may take
some time to be displayed or it may not be displayed correctly.
•

notes regarding the devices you wish to connect.
•
All your stored data should be backed up first as a precaution before connecting to the TV.
• Depending on the attributes of the MP3 music content or the digital picture file, it may not be
played back properly.
• It is recommended that files to be played back are recorded under the following
specifications:

Maximum file size: 8 MB
Maximum pixel size: 2.7 Mpixel
Sampling frequency: 32, 44.1, 48 kHz
Bit rate: 64, 96,128, 160, 192, 256, 320 kbps
Photo Viewer
Allows you to view digital pictures (“.jpg” or “.bmp”; upper/lower case) stored on your USB Mass
Storage Class devices.
Thumbnail View
When you select
Thumbnail View
and press the
OK
button, a folder or file list will be displayed.
Select a folder using the

or
5∞
buttons. Choose a picture and press the
OK
button. It will
now be shown on the screen. To move to the next picture, press the

button. To move to the
previous picture, press the
2
button.

If there are more images than displayed, those images will be shown on the next page. To go
to the next page, select the last image on the page and press the
3
or
∞
button. To go back
to the previous page, press the
2
or
5
button.
Slide Show
On the
Thumbnail View
screen, you can view a slide show by pressing the
TUNE
button.
While viewing the slide show, you can also listen to music stored on the USB device.
