5 Maintenance
Use of maintenance products that are harmful to health and
discharge of liquids during maintenance program. Harmful if
swallowed. Irritating to eyes and skin.

Keep children AWAY.

Keep children away from the machine while it is performing a
maintenance program.

Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
T
Avoid generation of dust. Do not inhale dust.
T
When using do not eat or drink.
T
Keep maintenance products away from food, drink and
animal food.
T
Keep container tightly closed and dry. Keep in a cool place.
Your GIGA has the following integrated maintenance programs:

Rinsing the coffee system (

)

Rinsing the milk system in the dual spout
(
‘Rinse the milk system’
)
U
Cleaning the milk system in the dual spout
(
‘Clean the milk system’
)
U
Changing the filter (
‘Change the filter’
)

Cleaning the machine (
‘Clean’
)
U
Descaling the machine (
‘Descale’
)
(only if filter is not activated)

Clean or descale the machine, rinse the milk system or change
the filter when you are prompted to do so.

Press the P button to view a list of the maintenance
programs (
‘Maintenance status (1/5)’
). When the bar is
completely filled with red, your GIGA will prompt you to
perform the appropriate maintenance program.

In the interests of hygiene, you should clean the milk system
daily
when you have been preparing milk.
