7 Maintenance
Use of maintenance products that are harmful to health and
discharge of liquids during maintenance program� Harmful if
swallowed� Irritating to eyes and skin�

Keep children away from the machine while it is performing a
maintenance program�

Avoid contact with skin and eyes�

Avoid generation of dust� Do not inhale dust�

When using do not eat or drink�

Keep maintenance products away from food, drink and
animal food�

Keep container tightly closed and dry� Keep in a cool place�

‘Maintenance status’

section and a ‘Machine setting’

section� You can manage the maintenance of your E8 in the

If a maintenance program needs to be initiated, the

appears with a red background� Press the

button to enter the
Cockpit� The Cockpit shows maintenance programs that need to
be carried out in the form of messages with red backgrounds�
Press the button that corresponds to the message to go straight
to the maintenance program� Maintenance programs that are
due imminently are indicated on your E8 by means of a bar
display within the message�

Carry out each maintenance program when you are prompted
to do so�
You can start coffee system rinsing manually at any time�
Precondition:
The start screen is displayed�

Place a receptacle under the coffee spout�

‘Rinse the coffee system’
button to start the rinse
operation�
The operation stops automatically�
