SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use.
Save these instructions for future reference.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and
supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type
plate.
Never put acids, alkalis or flammable or explosive substances in the
appliance.
Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or not working properly, or if the
power cord or plug are damaged. A damaged power cord must be replaced
by an authorised service centre, or qualified person, to ensure safe use.
Do not pull the power cord to unplug the plug.
Do not use the machine in explosive environments, for example, in the vicinity
of flammable liquids, gases or dust.
Switch off the appliance and unplug the power cord before cleaning and
maintenance.
The device is only intended for making ice cubes. Never use the appliance to
cool food or drinks, this can damage the appliance.
Unplug the power cord before moving the appliance, otherwise the cooling
system can be damaged.
Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Repairs should be carried out
by qualified personnel or an authorised service centre.
Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than the one it is intended to
be used for. The appliance is not intended to be used by persons (children or
adults) with any form of functional disorders, or by persons who do not have
sufficient experience or knowledge on how to use it, unless they have
received instructions concerning the use of the appliance from someone who
is responsible for their safety.
Keep the appliance under careful supervision when it is used by, or near
children, or persons with functional disorders.
