ASSEMBLY
Step 1
Assemble the drawbar, hitch bracket and frame as
illustrated.
NOTE:
The frame tubes are curved to fit around
the drawbar.
Do not tighten the nuts and bolts fully yet.
Step 2
Place the spinner axle in the base of the
hopper.
Push the wheel axle through the holes in the
axle brackets.
Secure the axle brackets on the hopper. The
curved part of the axle brackets should face
forwards, in the same direction as the wire
comes out of the spreader hopper.
Attach the flat support arms on the axle
brackets to the front bolts of the hopper.
Do not tighten the nuts and bolts fully yet.
Step 3
Fit the frame from step one to the axle brackets from step two.
Also fit the horizontal crossbar (1).
Fit the feed adjuster to the drawbar (see step 4).
Slide the plastic bushings onto the wheel axle and through the holes in the axle bracket (see step
3A).
One wheel is fitted on the axle with a split cotter. The other wheel is attached with a bolt.
Tighten all the nuts and bolts!
