SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use!

Fire hazard! The gas torch must only be used in well ventilated areas and well away from
flammable materials, liquids and gases.

Always wear eye protection when using the gas torch.

The flame of the gas torch is extremely hot and may cause burns. Protect your hands and face.
Remember that the flame can be difficult to see.

Always use at a safe distance from flammable objects.

Do not overheat the gas torch. Do not use for more than one minute at a time and allow it to cool
before using it again.

Hold the gas torch upright. The flame may go out if the torch is held in other positions.

Allow the torch to cool completely before filling it with gas. Only use butane gas.

Make sure that the gas torch is switched off completely and has cooled before putting it away.

Keep out of direct sunlight and away from hot objects.

Store out of the reach of children.

The gas torch does not work at very low temperatures.

The gas torch must not be dismantled or modified.

DESCRIPTION

1. Nozzle
2. Trigger
3. Refill

valve

OPERATION

Filling with gas

1.

Hold the gas torch and pull the upper section up (fig. 1).

2.

Carefully remove the igniter from the upper section of the torch (fig. 2).

3.

Turn the refill container upside down and push the nozzle into the igniter refill valve. Carefully press
and fill until the liquid level in the igniter has increased to approx. 80% (fig. 3).

4.

It is not advisable to fill the igniter with gas if it is in place in the upper section of the gas torch as
this may damage the refill valve (fig. 4). The hole in the base of the lower section is designed to
release any leaking gas.

5.

Carefully push the igniter up into the upper section of the gas torch (fig. 5). The igniter flame
adjustment control must face the front. Press the lower section of the gas torch into position (fig. 6).

6.

Allow the gas to stabilise for a few minutes after refilling before using the gas torch.

WARNING!

Do not fill the igniter by more than 80%, otherwise the excess may spray out when you

connect the igniter to the gas torch. This can cause burns or fire.

Igniting the gas torch

Depress the trigger (2) with your thumb (fig. 7). It may be necessary to press once or twice to ignite the
gas torch. Hold down the trigger (2) for as long as you think the flame should burn.
