10. MOTOR PULLEY AND BELT

(1) Motor pulley and belt for the machine without thread trimmer are as described below.

)   Use a clutch motor with an output 400 W (2P).

2)  Use M type V belt.

3)  The relation between the motor pulley, belt length and number of revolutions of sewing machine is 

as shown in the list below.

*  The effective motor pulley diameter is obtained by subtracting 5 mm from the outer diameter.

*  The motor should rotate counterclockwise when viewed from the pulley side. Be careful not to ro-

tate it in the counter direction.

(2) For the machine with thread trimmer

Use M type 43-inch belt (MTJVM00430A) for SC-500.
