Results of Improper Adjustment
* Figures on the graduations are indicated in the unit of mm.
1) Adjustment of forward feed stitch length
1. Turn the feed adjust dial

in the direction of the arrow so that
the required figure is adjusted to the engraved marker dot

the arm.
2. When changing the feed graduation from high to low, turn the
feed adjust dial

while pressing the feed lever

in the direc-
tion of the arrow and the feed adjust stopper

of the arrow

3. When changing the feed graduation from low to high, turn the
feed adjust dial

4. When the feed adjust stopper

2) Reverse feed stitch length check (manual)
1. Turn the feed adjust dial

2. Reverse feed takes place when the feed lever

is pressed.
The status that the lever is pressed at the maximum corre-
sponds to the graduation value of the feed adjust dial

3) Reverse feed stitch length check (electrically-operated)
1. When the switch

is pressed, the sewing machine assumes
the condition of reverse feed. When this switch is released, the
condition of forward feed is promptly recovered.
