Remove shorter bread, teacakes etc by
raising the Bread Lower Lever
.
■
CAUTION: the stainless steel
surround of the Toast Carriage Slots
will become HOT during toasting.
Toasting from frozen
■
Follow the instructions in “How to
use”, but as soon as heating begins,
press the Defrost Button
; the
Defrost Indicator will illuminate and
the heating time will be extended.
Reheating pre-toasted bread
■
Follow the instructions in “How to
use”, but as soon as heating begins,
press the Reheat Button
; the
Reheat Indicator will illuminate and
the heating time will be set to just
sufficient to heat the toast without
over-toasting the bread, irrespective
of the setting of the Toaster Browning
Control
.
Cleaning
■
Allow the Toaster to cool completely
before cleaning. Switch off at the
mains and unplug from the mains
socket.
1. Remove the Crumb Trays
from
the base of the Toaster Body
.
Dispose of any crumbs. If necessary,
the Crumb Trays may be washed with
warm water and detergent, then dried
thoroughly.
2. Replace the Crumb Trays
into the
base of the Toaster Body
.
3. Wipe the Toaster Body
with
a cloth, slightly dampened with warm
water and detergent, then dry.

DO NOT IMMERSE ANY PART OF THE
TOASTER, OTHER THAN THE CRUMB
TRAY, IN WATER.
■
Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners,
steel wool scourers or brushes with
metal bristles.
