 Meat Mincer

7.

Set the ON/R Switch

13

to “ON” and the ON/0/R Switch

14

 to “ON”. The

mincer will start to run.

8.

Using only the Food Pusher

5

, feed the meat through the hopper outlet

into the Feed Head

2

. Meat will be minced and begin to fill the sausage

skin through the Sausage Attachment

11

.

•

DO NOT USE UNDUE FORCE, ANY OTHER IMPLEMENT OR YOUR

FINGERS.

9.

Control the sausage skin with one hand to ensure an even fill, without

air gaps but not too tight; if you overfill, the sausages may burst when

cooking.

10.

When the first sausage has reached the desired length, squeeze it

through with your fingers at the end of the sausage and twist to close the

skin at the end.

•

You may find it convenient to stop the mincer after each sausage length,

by setting the ON/0/R Switch

14

 to “0”.

11.

When you have made all your sausages, set the ON/0/R Switch

14

 to “0”,

switch off at the mains and remove the Mains Plug

15

  from the socket.

12.

Thoroughly clean all parts of the Meat Mincer as described in “Cleaning

and Storage”.

If your mincer becomes blocked

If your mincer becomes blocked, this can often be cleared by using the

reverse function as follows:

1.

Set the ON/0/R Switch

14

to “0”. Wait for the motor to come to a

complete halt.

2.

Set the ON/R Switch

13

to “R”. This enables the reverse function.

3.

Pulse the mincer in reverse by briefly pressing the ON/0/R Switch

14

 to

“R” for a few seconds. This will turn the Feed Screw

6

 backwards to clear

the blockage.

•

If this does not clear the blockage, follow the instructions for “How to

disassemble”, followed by the instructions for “Cleaning”.
