Trouble Shooting

In the following we have summarised some solutions to problems that you can check when working 
with the device. Please note that technical repairs may only be carried out by qualified service 
personnel! 

1. 

  No steam comes from the hose!

 

u

  

Check to make sure that the plug is  properly connected .

 

u

  

Is the machine turned on and is the control light burning on the main switch?

 

u

  

Is the green ready light on the device lighted?

 

u

  

Is the rotary switch set to level 1, 2 or 3?

 

u

  

Check if possible whether the iron or the humidifier is functional in order to determine 

 

 

if the fault is with the device or the hose. 

2. 

  Just water is coming out of the iron

 

u

  

Check the function of our hot air device using the working hose.

 

u

  

Is the thermostat completely opened in a clockwise direction and the iron?

 

u

  

Does the foot of the iron reach the necessary temperature?

3. 

  The hose connector cannot be removed from the device.

 

u

  

First push the hose completely into the socket, then press the red button and pull 

 

 

the hose out while wiggling it back and forth gently. 

4. 

  The device suddenly begins to squeak and not steam any more.

 

u

  

Re-fill the water in the auxiliary tank.

5. 

  The orange lamp is lit on the device and there is a constant beeping

 

u

  

Switch the device off at the main switch and wait around 20 seconds before you turn 

 

 

the device on again. Now you should hear a humming sound and the orange lamp should 

 

 

be blinking. As soon as it goes off, you can continue using your Jt Care® hot air device.
