17. This appliance has hot and arching or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas 

      where gasoline, paint or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored. This fireplace

      should not be used as a drying rack for clothing. Christmas stockings or decorations

      should not be hung in the area of it.
18. Use this appliance only as described in the manual. Any other use not recommend-

      ed by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
19. Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet / receptacle. Never use with an 

      extension cord or re-loadable power tap (outlet / power strip).

  

20. This heater has a VISUAL alarm to warn that parts of the heater are getting 

      excessively hot. If the alarm flashes, immediately turn the heater off, unplug the unit 

      and inspect for any objects on or adjacent to the heater that may have blocked the

      airflow or otherwise cause high temperatures. DO NOT OPERATE THE HEATER WITH THE 

      ALARM FLASHING.
21. This heater is for use on 120 volts. The cord has a plug as shown in Figure A. An 

      adapter as shown in figure B is available for connecting three-blade grounding type 

      plugs to two-slot receptacles. The green grounding plug extending from the adapter 

      must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box

      as shown in figure C. The adapter should not be used if a three-slot grounded 

      receptacle is available.
