The timers can be programmed with the burners off but it can only be reduced with the
burner on.
When the time cycle is complete, the hob will emit an alert sound for 30 seconds. This can
be turned off by pressing the
[PT]
key
Adjusting the Clock
To adjust the clock and especially after power interruptions, it is necessary to press
simultaneously the [
PT]
and
[KL]
keys for 3 seconds. If the hob is on, all the burners will be
turned off.
By pressing
P+
or
P-,
the digits to the left of the display (hours) and to the left of the display
(minutes) can be changed. Press the
PT
key again to set clocks time.
Unlocking Burners.
A burner that has been locked out for any reason will have a letter
“
b
”
showing in its display.
It can be unlocked by simultaneously
[-A]
and [
KL]
keys for two seconds. When this is
complete, all of the burners will show
“0”
in their display window which signifies that they are
switched of and ready to be switched on.
Note: If the user repeats the unlock procedure more than 5 times in 15 minutes, the display
will show the error message
“
FLT06
”
after which the devise cannot be unlocked for a further
15 minutes.
Keyboard Lock
The keyboard can be locked by pressing the
[KL]
key for at least 2 seconds. All burner
levels will remain unchanged.
When the keyboard is locked, it is not possible to alter the gas flow or timer settings because
the only enabled key is the
[ON/OFF]
key.
To unlock the keyboard, press the [
KL]
and [
+A]
keys for 2 seconds. An unlocked keyboard
has the dots on the displays level switched off.
Calibration and Setting (Gas Engineers only)
Regulation of minimum gas level of burners
This procedure allows the engineer to reset the predetermined minimum
burner rate i.e. the gas level at first ignition.
Start the procedure by pressing keys
[+]
on
burner B
and
[+]
on
burner E
simultaneously for 3 seconds with the burners turned off.
At the start of the process of regulating the burners, the timer display shows
“MIN”
. At this
point, select the desired burner to be regulated by pressing the
[P+]
and [
P-]
keys. The
appropriate display will activate when it is selected by then pressing the
PT
key.
The burner will start at the minimum level and then it is possible to increase or decrease to a
new minimum by pressing the
[P+]
or
[P-]
keys.
To regulate the intermediate levels, increase the burner to the desired level by using the
[P+]
and
[P-]
keys.
During the adjustment of minimum and intermediate levels, the flame level displays shows
the actual level being regulated whilst the timer display still shows
“
MIN
”
alternating with a
decimal number from the modulation table. When the levels are being adjusted, the flashing
indicators of the display indicate that the system has not yet reached the stable condition
equal to the desired selected level.
To confirm the capacity for each number, press the
[PT]
key to exit or select a different
burner. The selected levels are stored in the system memory during the process.
Note that it is not possible to alter the flow rate of setting number 7.
