3. Adjust the distance between the Camera and the keyboard so that all keys are showing plus a
little bit extra on the top, so that the audience can see the pianist lifting his/her hands:
4. Make sure that enough of the area to the left of the keyboard is showing so that the pianist's
hands and wrists will be visible.
Step 11: Masking the Image
Once the image is correct, the next step is to mask the image to get rid of unwanted parts to the left and
upper right of the Screen. To do this, take the thinner of the 2 velcro straps that were securing the lens cover.
Stand behind the projector facing the piano lid and hold the strap so that it is vertical, covering the left side of
the lens, with the soft fuzzy side of the velcro facing the lens:
