5. SPIRO-METALLIC CONNECTION TUBE FOR NATURAL
GAS BURNERS
Spiro-metallic connection allows a safety connection between the gas inlet
and the burner.
It can only be used with NATURAL GAS.
They are not suitable for BUTANE, PROPANE,...
J.P. SELECTA, s.a. offers two spiro-metallic connection tube models:
Old model:
Colour: BLACK. PART NUMBER 1001541
New model:
Colour: Various. PART NUMBER 1001551
The spiro-metallic tube has two ends:

One like in Fig.1, which is connected to the burner.

The other like in Fig.2, which is connected, with a removable connector/
valve, to the natural gas installation.
To disconnect, push and turn it 1/4.
Selection of the suitable connection tube for the burner
«Loose» connection:
Burner models 7001539 and 7001551 with «loose» connection nut. See Fig.
3.
These models should exclusively use BLACK connection
part number: 1001541
ATTENTION
DANGER FLAMMABLE GAS LEAK
Use only tube 1001541 (Black) for burners with this kind of
«loose» connection
«Fixed» connection:
Burner models 7001539 and 7001551 with «fi xed» connection nut, see Fig. 4.
These models can use both connections:
BLACK connection. Part number: 1001541
Colour connection. Part number: 1001551.
Use preferably connection part number: 1001551.
