INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Insert the power plug of the appliance into a wall socket and use the rotary controller to switch it on
and select the required temperature. The red led will start to blink. When the red led goes off, this
means that the hair straightener has reached the temperature set and is ready for use.
Maximum temperature is 220°C and the minimum is 100°C. The temperatures that can be selected
are 100°C-120°C -140°C -160°C-180°C -200°C-220°C.
Place the dry hair between the two plates, squeeze the hand grip to close the plates and then let
the plates slide towards the tips of the hair. – Let the appliance cool down before storing it away.
The locking mechanism makes it easy to store the appliance. It allows the appliance to be closed by
simply pushing one plate against the other. Do not heat the device when it is in the locked position.
Automatic safety shutdown: If the device is switched on and no buttons are pushed within 40
minutes, it will switch off automatically.
The universal voltage: 100-240V ~ 50-60Hz also allows the appliance to be used abroad. When the
appliance is used at 120 V, heating times and temperatures that can be reached will vary
WARNING:
Do not use the hair straightener on wet hair.
Hair straighteners are very powerful devices and must be used with the utmost care.
If the hair straightener is used incorrectly or the temperature is wrong, then there is a risk of
overheating or even burning the hair.
When using the hair straightener for the first time, always select a moderate temperature.
Recommended selections:
- A low temperature for fine or brittle hair
- A medium to low temperature for wavy hair
- A medium to high temperature for hair which is very curly, difficult to straighten, thick and resistant
In any case, always ask your own hairdresser which temperature to use for your type of hair.
