1.0 Relationship to the
authorities
The Jøtul FS 380 concept
is a serial of freestanding products that
uses the Jøtul F 370
as the burn chamber and can be positioned
against inflammable walls at the distances described in
fig. 1
.
The installation of a fireplace must be carried out in compliance
with national laws and regulations. All local ordinances must be
observed when installing this product.
Contact your local building authorities regarding restrictions and
installation requirements. The product may not be used until it
has been inspected and approved by qualified personnel.
The surround comes with an Installation Manual that contains
technical data for the whole fireplace. The insert comes with an
Installation Manual that contains technical data for the insert
(see*). For day-to-day use, maintenance, service work, etc., please
refer to the General Use and Maintenance Manual.

followed precisely with regard to the installation requirements
and information described in

The product is documented as a freestanding product in
accordance with EN 13240.
The approval label for the freestanding product comes with the
Installation Manual for the surround. It should be affixed in a
suitably visible place.
