Open up the drill hole (26) using a 4.2 mm
diameter drill.
Deburr and bevel the drill hole.
Cut the M5 thread.
Drill hole for metric thread:
- Core hole diameter: Diameter 4.2 mm
- External diameter: M5
- Depth: All the way through or min. 15 mm depth

Drill a hole in the holder (27) using a 5.5 mm
diameter drill.
Deburr the hole on both sides.

Fit the locking sensor with a sensor holder (22)
and trap (25) as shown above.
Also note the "Repair instructions for the
JSK 37 fifth wheel coupling"
Tighten the securing nut (28) to hand tight-
ness.
Only use a new securing nut (28) for
installation.

To secure the retaining plate, insert the
M5 x 10 screw (29) included with the repair
kit and tighten it to the specified torque.
Tighten the hexagonal screw (24) to the
specified torque.
