2.2 Replacing the batteries
When the batteries have reached the end of their service life, the following message is dis-
played at the bottom of the screen while charging.

The batteries may only be replaced with rechargeable NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride)
AA-size batteries with a recommended capacity of 2000 mAh.

The batteries must be removed if the remote control is not going to be used for an
extended period of time (longer than one month).

Do not place fully discharged batteries in the remote control. The system does not
have sufficient capacity to charge them.

Remove the batteries from the remote control when they are fully discharged and
recharge them in a charging station.
