Speed setting for different applications
In order to avoid damage as a result of possibly excessively high speed settings, the maximum
rpm can be limited by the potentiometer on the foot control. The scale has three graduations
(refer to Figure 7.5):
• Working with hand-filing machines (speed up to 8,000 rpm)
• Working with angle handpieces (speed up to 15,000 rpm)
• Working with straight handpieces (speed up to 22,000 rpm)
