FAULT FINDING

The following are guidelines in determining the root cause of a problem. Should the fault not be identified then please
contact Customer Services/Technical Support for further assistance.

PROBLEM: 

Hoist not working.

Can be identified by an LCD panel that will have the
word STOP and a picture of a plug in the panel. Turn
red button clockwise or anti-clockwise (try both) and
release.

Possible Fault

Remedy

Emergency stop switch activated

Battery is not charged sufficiently

Power supply disconnected
(detachable battery packs)

Completely discharged batteries
(discharged beyong recovery)

Can be identified by an LCD panel that will have none
of the four blocks illuminated (audible beep should
have been heard prior to this).

Push battery into place until a CLICK can be heard.

Replace batteries.

PROBLEM: 

Hoist won’t go up or won’t go down..

Push plug firmly into socket (in an emergency use of
the emergency raise and lower function on the control
box will suffice).

Possible Fault

Remedy

Hand control plug not fully engaged

Wiring in hand control plug detached

Hand control switches not working

Wires detached inside handset

Replace hand c as above.

Replace control box

Replace control box

Hand control socket damaged

Relay on control board inoperative

Defective actuator

Anti-crush micro switch activated
(safety device)

Replace hand c as above.

Replace hand c as above.

Replace actuator

Check for correct function of micro switch or remove
any obstacle that may have come btween the boom
as it was lowering.

Actuator jack plug disconnected

Checkout plug and re-connect.
