FILLING
●
Open the lid and fill the jug.
●
Do not fill with less than the MIN mark.
●
Do not fill with more than the MAX mark.
●
Do not forget close the lid firmly after filling.
SWITCHING ON
●
Insert the mains plug into a wall socket.
●
Press the ON/OFF switch to boil. The pilot light will light up when the switch at
“ON” position.
SWITCHING OFF
●
When the water boiled, the appliance will switch off automatically and pilot light will go out.
The switch will be at the
“OFF” position.
●
Then you can switch the kettle off manually any time.
NOTE
: When ON/OFF switch is turned off, do not force it into the “ON” position as this will
seriously damage the operating mechanism.
CLEANING
●
The kettle may be cleaned with a soft damp cloth after removing from the mains plug, from
the wall socket. Do not use abrasive cleaner.
●
Soap or detergent can be used to remove the troublesome stains, strong acid and corrosion
cleaner must not be used to clean the operating mechanism.
DESCALING
●
Clean off the scale on the inside of jug kettle regularly in following manner at least twice a
year.
●
Add maximum 1.7 liters of ordinary vinegar into the kettle and boil it.
●
Switch off (or remove the main from wall socket).
●
Let the vinegar remain inside the kettle overnight.
●
Throw the vinegar away in the next morning.
●
Fill with the clean water up the MAX and boil again.
●
Throw away this boiled water to remove any remaining scale and vinegar.
●
Rinse the inside of kettle with clean water.
