NOTE:
Dispose of the trimmer, its accessories and the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner.
Electrical grass trimmers must not be disposed of with domestic waste. Hand in a redundant trimmer to
a recycling centre. The plastic and metals can then be sorted out and graded for recycling.
Our Service Centre will be happy to answer any questions in this respect. Defective units returned to us will
be disposed of for free.

Replacing Trimmer Spool - part # 060-3054-0
To replace trimmer spool, using index finger and thumb firmly squeeze the two serrated tabs found on
trimmer spool head as shown. Enough pressure will release the spool cover exposing the trimmer spool.
Remove the spool cover and remove the empty spool.
At this time the spool can either be re-filled using 0.065” (1.65 mm) trimmer line or a replacement spool (part
#060-3054-0) can be installed. To install new spool,
simply place new spool in spool head knob side
facing up and feed the loose end of the trimmer line
through the round steel eyelet on spool head. The
line should be free. Align the spool cover and snap
into place. Follow the advancing line procedures in
earlier section of this manual.
