Function test
1.
Carry out a visual inspection. Check:
•
If the device exists
•
That the heat detector is not polluted by paint, any cover or dust for
example
•
If the heat detector is in a correct condition (nothing broken off)
If there are any claims of the above, replace the heat detector immediately.
2.
Carry out a sounder test. Therefore press the LED conductor pole for about
one second. A warning alarm sounds if the heat detector is operational.
3.
Replace all heat detectors after 10 years for new ones!
Please do not dispose the heat detector in the domestic waste.
⑦
Alarm muting
The alarm muting can be activated by pressing the test LED conductor pole of the
heat detector (1). The heat detector will mute for approx. 10 minutes and then reset
itself to the normal operation sensitivity level.
⑧
Alarm Memory
A registrated alarm will be stored in the heat detector for 24 hours. This is indicated
by 3 short flashes every 43 seconds. Press the “Alarm-Mute-Test-Button” (LED
conductor pole 6.2) to reset the alarm memory latch.

into the intended bracket of the heat detector.
3.
Replace the heat detector back into the base and turn clockwise.
4.
Check if the LED conductor pole flashes.
5.
Carry out a sounder test. Press therefore the LED conductor pole for about
one second.

Accessories: Radio module & Radio control panel
A) Wireless linking of the heat detector via radio module
The heat detector
HDv 300X TS
can be equipped with a wireless network module
868 MHz (Order No. 30933) for a wireless linking between each other and smoke
alarms. With a wireless module 433 MHz (Order No. 32488) it is possible to transmit
alarm signals to a radio control panel (SRC 3000, Order No.: 32487). These radio
modules are simple to install and can be also be installed after initial installation. For
further details see the corresponding manual.
B) Connection to the Instabus EIB or connection to external signaller
The heat detector
HDv 300X TS
can be connected to an EIB by a relay-module
(Order No. 30942). These radio modules are simple to install and can be also be
installed supplementary. For further details see the corresponding manual.
