Accuracy
We use f.s. (full scale), rdg. (Reading), and dgt. (Resolution) values to define measurement
tolerances, which have the following meanings:
f.s. (maximum display value or measurement range)
Maximum display value or measurement range. This is usually the name of the currently selected
range.
rdg. (read or display value)
The currently measured value and the value displayed on the measuring instrument.
dgt. (resolution)
The smallest displayable unit of a digital tester is to make the digital display display the input
value of the smallest significant digit "1".
