Remove the front wheel & mudguard, carrier & cardboard carton containing assembly parts,
mirrors, foot brake & gear levers, battery and Assembly & Service & Maintenance manuals.

Remove all the 10mm bolts around the

bottom

of the frame & carefully lift the angle iron frame

vertically off the bike. Remove the top & rear polystyrene block packing.

With someone holding the bike so it cannot fall over, undo the 2 bolts holding the forks to the
metal base of the crate. At this stage unless you have a proper motorcycle stand leave the bike
on the metal base of the crate to catch any dropped nuts & bolts & to ensure a clean assembly
surface.

Put the bike on its centre stand & put a prop (you can use the rear polystyrene packing block
with a piece of wood on top of it) under the engine crankcase so that the rear wheel is touching
the ground & the forks are up in the air as high as possible.

ASSEMBLY

To install the front mudguard undo & remove the four 10mm mounting bolts & washers on the
forks, apply a drop of Loctite to each bolt & install guard.
