Back (2):
The "Back" button (2) is used to switch from one type of display to another from the main
screen in the following order:

Measurement
-
Table
-
Curve
Within a menu it is used to go back a step.
Menu (4):
This button displays Initio2's main menu.
2.6 Data acquisition
Initio 2 has an internal memory to save measurements. Two modes are available:

Manual acquisition
Acquisition is on a point by point basis. Each measurement is manually saved by the user
(see below)

Time acquisition
Data acquisition takes place as a function of time, according to a duration entered by the
user
2.6.1 Manual acquisition

Press the Menu button (4)
-
Using the rotating wheel (3), select
Acquisition
and confirm by a short press on the
rotating wheel (3).

Select
Manual.
-
To record a measurement, select the
Save
icon (white circle) and confirm by briefly
pressing the rotating wheel (3).

To stop the recording select the
Stop
icon (black square) and confirm by pressing
the rotating wheel (3). Confirm the selection in the dialogue box.
2.6.2 Time acquisition

Press the Menu button (4)

Using the rotating wheel (3), select
Acquisition
and confirm by a short press on the
rotating wheel (3).

Select
Time.
-
Using the rotating wheel (3), select the number defining the duration and press on
the rotating wheel (3).

Modify this duration by turning the rotating wheel (3) then confirm by pressing on the
centre of the rotating wheel.

If the data acquisition is to loop (return of the acquisition to zero at the end of a
defined period) select
Loop
-
Confirm the final choice by selecting
OK
Data acquisitions based on time last between 60 seconds and 50 hours. The interval
between two measurements adjusts automatically.
2.6.3 Recording the data
Once the acquisition is complete (time or manual) it must be saved to be able to retrieve the
points on a computer.
