Avoid violent shocks.
Do not insert metal wire, needles or similar in the ventilation holes.
Do not move the appliance by pulling on the connecting cables.
Avoid storing and transporting the appliance upside down for an extended
period.
3.4 Checks before bringing into service
Checking the voltage
The correct range of operating voltage is indicated below. Check the voltage
available is in this range before powering on the appliance.

198 to 242 V / 99 to 121 V AC
Check the type of fuse
Use the correct type of fuse to protect the appliance against current overload.
If a fuse has blown, find the cause with due care and replace the fuse with one
of the correct rating.
If you do not use the right fuse, not only will the appliance not work properly
but the failure could become worse. You must ensure you use the correct
fuse.
Remarks:
(1) The intensity adjustment potentiometer must be positioned mid-way.
(2) Insofar as possible avoid short circuiting the output.
4 Operating
principles
Check the voltage and connect the mains cable to the current socket located
at the rear of the appliance, then switch on using the On/Off switch. Adjust the
various control buttons as follows:

On/Off: Not pushed in
•
Voltage adjustment button: Mid-way
•
Intensity adjustment button: Mid-way

Activate the On-Off switch.
