To disassemble the sampler head, hold tight the body and the sampler head
and then pull.
Check if the joint ring of the sampler’s body is correctly positioned in the
throat. Insert the head in the body by pushing the tip of the sampler.
The sampler head is an electrical device and should never be thrown away
with household waste.
8 Precautions for use
8.1
General precautions of use
The sampler head is covered with porous membranes protected by a tubular
grill and a grill in the shape of a disc on the tip. Do not try to remove the
protection grills. To clean the head, it is sufficient to rinse it with clear water
or dip it in the clear water.
In case of off-line use with the VTT, do not connect to the computer, the
console stops after 10 minutes. To avoid the VTT to stop, it is recommended
to start the acquisition with the recording software of the VTT from the
calibration phase.
8.2 Use precautions during measurements in a
liquid medium
When taking a measurement in water, it is imperative to agitate the medium.
For all operations in a liquid medium following the first calibration, starting
the oxymeter with the probe in the medium is strongly recommended.
System start-up time will be considerably reduced (see 5.2: Measurement in
water).
