For performance issues, we strongly suggest you don’t install a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM
drive on the same IDE channel as a hard disk. Otherwise, the system performance on this
channel may drop.
2-6-2 Headers
(1) COM2 Serial Port Headers (9-pin) : COM2
This board has one serial port header COM2, it come with cable providing serial port
COM2. The On-board serial port can be disabled through BIOS SETUP. Please refer to
Chapter 3 “INTEGRATED PERIPHERALS SETUP“ section for more detail information.

(2) TV-Out Header (5-pin): TV_OUT (for V623DMW only)
The TV-Out header is for S-Video/Composite TV-Out function. With optional Cable users can
