PWR button
The PWR button lets you turn the controller on or off.
As soon as voltage is applied to terminal X101, the
controller boots. If mode selector S11 is in position
RUN, the operating system and the application
program (if any) are loaded.
To perform an orderly shutdown of the system,
press the PWR button.
Note:
Even when the controller JC-970MC is turned off by
pressing the PWR button, parts of the system are
still energized. To de-energize the system as a
whole, remove the power supply from terminal
X101.
Once the system has been shut down, it can
restarted by pressing the PWR button (assuming
that power is still applied to terminal X101).
To trigger a forced shutdown during normal
operation, press the PWR button for more than four
seconds.
