As you accelerate, lean forwards. As you brake, tilt your weight
backwards. Avoid putting too much of your body pressure on the
handle bars during acceleration and deceleration.
TIP
FOOT POSITION
Before riding, put one foot as close as possible to the front section of the
scooter, and your other foot on the ground. Make sure that your driving route is
clear.
STARTING YOUR RIDE
Before you begin riding, check the brake lever and throttle to make sure they
are secure. If they are loose, tighten them before riding your Breeze Light.
To start riding, press the throttle down with your thumb. Then, use your foot on
the ground to push yourself forwards. The throttle will not work if there is no
forward momentum or movement in the wheels. Tilt your body forwards so you
don’t fall backwards during acceleration.
While riding, keep one foot behind the other. It's more comfortable to place
one foot forward and the other one turned backwards at 70-90°, like on a
skateboard or surfboard. This will help you gain more stability.
TURNING
The turns on the Breeze Light are done as on a surfboard or snowboard. The
handlebar should remain parallel to the body while turning. Before turning,
look in the approaching direction and make sure turning is safe.
BRAKING
Tilt your weight backwards so that the brake action will be equalized and not
weighted on the handlebar and steering system. Press the Brake Handle
slowly to decrease your speed gradually.
