25.  Give  your  work  undivided  attention.  Looking 

around,  carrying  on  a  conversation  and 
“horse-play” are careless acts that can result 
in serious injury. 

26.  Do not force a tool or attachment to do a job 

for  which  it  was  not  designed.  The  right  tool 
will do the job better and more safely. 

27.  Repetitive  motions  and/or  exposure  to 

constant  vibration  can  be  harmful  to  hands 
and  arms.  Take  frequent  breaks  and  relax 
hands  during  extended  operation.  Change 
posture to avoid discomfort or fatigue.

toward sensitive areas of the body, and may 
propel small particles caught in the air stream.

Specific warnings for Angle Grinders 

34.  This grinder is designed and intended for use 

by  properly  trained  and  experienced 
personnel only. If you are not familiar with the 
proper  and  safe  operation  of  a  pneumatic 
angle grinder, do not use until proper training 
and knowledge have been obtained. 

35.  Inspect  grinding  wheel  for  cracks,  bends, 

excessive wear, or any other deformation. Do 
not  use  a  defective  wheel.  If  using  a  wire 
brush, inspect for loose wires. 

36.  Do not get oil or water on the grinding wheel. 

37.  When operating grinder, place grinding wheel 

against  work  surface  immediately  after 
starting. 

38.  Use proper size grinding wheel that matches 

the  tool’s  specifications.  Do  not  use 
unapproved  flanges/bushings  to  adapt  a 
grinding wheel to the arbor. 

39.  The  grinding  wheel  RPM  rating  must  be  the 

same or higher than RPM rating of grinder. 

40.  Ensure  that  work  piece  is  securely  fixed  by 

clamps  or  other  means,  and  will  not  move 
during operation.
