Power and Control
The 3HP motor (power rated based on continuous duty cycle) is rigidly mounted directly
to the under-table mechanism. Power is delivered to the blade through a pair of precisely
machined pulleys and a super-efficient Poly V-belt. The Poly-V Belt design is known for
smooth power delivery,
resistance to slipping and very
low heat generation because of its
thin cross section and high
surface area contact at the pulleys
as compared to common v-belt
designs.
The JET Deluxe XACTA Saw is
fully wired internally including
the industrial magnetic On/Off
switch. This style switch protects
the motor from dangerous power
fluctuations. It also prevents the
JET Deluxe XACTA Saw from
restarting unexpectedly should the power fail and then come back on. The operator must
press the On button again to restart the saw after power is restored.
JET motors (left) are rated for continuous duty cycle, no “peak” or
“max developed”. This rating insures you get all of the power listed!
The magnetic switch, (right) while costly does a lot to protect the
motor and you when the power becomes unstable.
The JET Deluxe XACTA Saw wiring terminates at a junction box on the rear of the
cabinet. That makes it easy to install the appropriate cord/plug combination for your
existing shop wiring or to hardwire it to a suitable power source and shut-off switch.

supported on both sides of its cast iron mount by high-
quality, sealed ball bearings to insure accurate, smooth,
and trouble-free operation for many years to come.
The pushbutton arbor lock and offset
wrench make changing blades easy and
safer.
To simplify blade changing we added a push button
type arbor lock. Not having to jam the blade with a
scrap of wood to loosen or tighten the nut eliminates
just one opportunity for damaging the blade, or your
