OPERATION & SETUP
2.1.
Insert Batteries
Observe correct polarity (look for imprint/indication on the battery compartment).
2.2.
Hook setting
Make sure the slider is at the bottom. If not, please slide it down.
Press the hook set button.
Push the hook stem into the little red plastic until it disappears. Push it as far as it will go.
Release the hook set button to fix the hook.
2.3.
Line setting
Take out about 30 cm of line.
Thread the end of the line through the line holder (from the inside to the outside) and allow 5
cm of line to overlap. (Too little line may result in a knot failure and a too long line may wind
into the gear).
Thread the line (at the spool end) to the back through the slit and make one coil around the
hook tier.
Make sure the line is on the slider.
Coil the line once again to the back through the slit and press the line against the body at the
back of the tier with your finger (holding it lightly but not lose).
2.4.
Line winding
Press the switch „ON” and allow the gear to make 6-8 windings, then release the switch.
Slide the slider to the top and strip the line for the slider. This will generate a loop.
Pull the line at the back (the spool end) until the loop has fastened itself on the hook.
2.5.
Hook removal
Press the hook set button to remove the tied hook.
