RADIO OPERATION
Listening to the Radio
1. Tap the RADIO BUTTON
(#3) to turn on the radio. The FM indicator and the
current station frequency will show on the display. The display will automatically
switch back to the time after 5 seconds.
2. Tap either one of the TUNE +/- BUTTONS (#2 / #1) to step through and adjust the
radio station frequency.
3. Auto Tuning: Press and hold either one of the TUNE +/- BUTTONS (#2 / #1) to
automatically tune to the next or previous available station.
4. Tap either one of the /-
BUTTONS (#8 / #11) to obtain the desired
volume level.
5. Press the RADIO BUTTON
(#3) to turn the radio off.
Notes:
• Use manual tuning to select weaker stations that might be skipped during
automatic tuning.
• If the automatic tuning does not stop on the exact frequency of the station, for
example, it stops on 88.9 MHz instead of 88.8 MHz, use the manual tuning method
to “fine tune” to the exact frequency of the desired station.
• To ensure maximum FM tuner reception, unwrap and fully extend the FM
ANTENNA (#18) for best FM radio reception.
Setting and Recalling the Radio Station Presets
1. Tap the RADIO BUTTON
(#3) to turn on the radio.
2. Tap either one of the TUNE +/- BUTTONS (#2 / #1) to step through and adjust the
desired radio station frequency.
3. Press and hold the SNOOZE/DIMMER BUTTON (#12) until the memory location
“P01” (or the next available preset location) starts flashing on the display.
4. Release the SNOOZE/DIMMER BUTTON (#12) and the memory location
continues flashing on the display.
5. Tap either one of the /-
BUTTONS (#8 / #11) to change the preset
station number location (P01-P10) and select the one where you want to save the
current station.
6. Press the MEM SNOOZE/DIMMER BUTTON (#12) again to confirm and save the
preset. The memory location will stop flashing and the display will change back to
the radio station.
7. Repeat steps 2 through 6 to store up to 10 stations.
8. To recall one of the preset stations already programmed, tap the
SNOOZE/DIMMER BUTTON (#12) repeatedly until you reach the desired preset
number/radio station.
