MATCH LIGHTING THE SIDE BURNER
If the side burner will not light after several attempts using the control knobs, the burner may be
lit with a match.
1. If you have already attempted to light the burner with the igniter, allow 5 minutes for any
accumulated gas to dissipate.
2. Insert a lit extended match or lighter through the cooking grids to the burner.
3. Press and turn the control knob to the “HI” setting. Continue pressing the knob until the
burner ignites.
4. If the burner does not ignite within 4 seconds, turn the control knob to the “OFF” position.
Wait 5 minutes and try again.
CAUTION
When lighting, keep your face and body as far
from the grill as possible.
