Please read and ensure that you understand all of the operating instructions, safety 
precautions and warnings in this Instruction Manual before operating or maintaining this 
equipment. An accident can often be avoided by recognizing a potentially hazardous 
situation before it occurs, and by observing the appropriate safety procedures. Never use 
this equipment or modify it in any way that has not been specifically recommended by the 
manufacturer. Contact a qualified electrician for advice on any issues relating to electrical 
safety in your working environment.

GENERAL EQUIPMENT SAFETY

This machine is equipped with various safety devices protecting both the operator and the machine. These features 

cannot cover all aspects relating to safety, therefore the user should read all of the following safety guidelines 

carefully before operating this machine. Other safety concerns relating to the surrounding conditions and material 

should also be carefully considered before beginning to operate this machine. 

• 

Before connecting the machine to the main power supply, ensure that all safety items are in their active positions 
and fully functional. Before removing the doors or protective safety covers, turn off the switch and disconnect the 
plug from its socket.  

• 

Ensure that the kick-back catchers are moving freely and regularly check they are functioning as required 
throughout the day.

• 

Do not connect the machine to the mains while the door or protective cover is removed.

• 

Before operating the machine familiarise yourself with the location of all of the switches, paying particular 
attention to the location of the emergency stop switch so that you can use it promptly at any time. 

• 

Do not touch any switches while the machine is being operated. 

• 

Do not under any circumstances touch any rotating tool by hands or with any other objects.

• 

When not in use, turn off the machine using the off switch and disconnect the plug from the mains power supply.

• 

Before cleaning the machine, switch off the machine and disconnect the plug from the mains power supply. 

• 

Before carrying out any maintenance work on the machine, switch off the machine and disconnect the plug from 
the mains power supply.

• 

Should a failure in power supply occur, switch off the machine immediately.

• 

Do not alter the machine in any manner which might cause any risk to its safe operation.

• 

Do not paint, cause any damage to, alter or remove safety plates. If they become illegible or is damaged, please 
contact the manufacturing plant and renew the plates.

• 

Keep work area clear around the machine. Cluttered areas can cause accidents and injuries.

• 

Remove personal articles, e.g. rings, watches, bracelets, neckties etc before working on the machine. Never 
wear any loose working clothes, button sleeves of shirts remove any neck ties, which may be caught with various 
parts of the working machine. Wear hair protection and fasten hair properly to avoid catching by moving part.

• 

Always wear the appropriate protective clothing including safety glasses, face shield,  dust mask, earplugs, 
safety boots and leather apron, as required.

• 

Always wear a protective mask while machining any material that produces dust while being machined. 

• 

Do not work on the machine under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or if you are tired.

and danger to the user. Warranty will be void in the event of incorrect use. The warnings, cautions and instructions 
discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be

be supplied by the operator.
