Grounding Instructions
For A Grounded, Cord-Connected Product:
This product must be grounded. If it should
malfunction or break down, grounding
provides a path of least resistance for an
electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock.
This product is equipped with a cord having an
equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding
plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate
outlet that is properly installed and grounded in
accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
Charging Cordset (EVSE) Installation And
Operating Instructions
1. Insert the AC plug of the EVSE into a 15 A,
or 20 A, 120 VAC, 60 Hz, grounded wall
receptacle. Do not use an extension cord,
outlet/plug adapter, or a worn outlet. The
EVSE will not operate safely unless it is
plugged directly into the wall receptacle.
NOTE:
The EVSE should be plugged into a dedicated
circuit, not a circuit shared with other devices
drawing electricity on the circuit.
