Cleaning / Disinfecting Procedure
Ergo-Flex Laryngo-Nasopharyngoscopes
* Note: Clean scope immediately after use. Do NOT
allow bio-materials to dry on scope, as cleaning is much more
difficult. Residual bio-burden significantly decreases ef
fectiveness of disinfectants.
Ef
fective cleaning is the most important part of the disinfection process.
** Note: Drying is critically important to minimize formation o
f biofilm. Biofilm will form on any surface containing non-steri
le water
. Biofilms significantly decrease ef
fectiveness of disinfectants.
