Circular Saw Assembly

Prior to any assembly and adjustment always
disconnect the tool from the power supply.

m

Place this circular saw on its side on a flat
surface. Bring the base plate down to the
minimum depth cut as it’s easier to change
the blade.

m

Press the spindle lock and carefully turn the
blade until the spindle lock engages.

m

Unscrew the blade screw with a spanner.

m

Remove the blade screw, any washers and
blade flange.

m

Loosen the lower guard lock lever, move
the bottom cover to one side.

m

Change to an appropriate blade. Fit the
blade with the direction marking on the
blade in the same direction as the direction
indicator.

m

Refit the blade flange, any washers and the
blade screw.

m

Press in the spindle lock and tighten the
blade screw with a spanner.

Depth Adjustment

m

Loosen the depth adjustment lock knob.

m

Adjust the bottom plate to the required
depth according to the depth scale, or
measure with a ruler.

m

Tighten the lock knob.

Angle Adjustment

m

Loosen the Lock knob for angle adjustment.

m

Adjust the shoe to the desired angle
between 0°to 45°. [See miter scale].

m

Tighten the lock knob for angle adjustment.

Power Switch

Before engaging the ON/OFF switch, check
that the saw blade is properly fitted and runs
smoothly and that the blade clamp bolt is
well tightened.

WARNING!

m

To switch on the circular saw, press the
lock-off button and pull the ON/OFF switch
trigger.

m

When you release the switch trigger the
tool turns off.

Parallel Cut Adjustment

m

Loosen the lock knob of edge guide.

m

Slide the parallel guide through the slots in
the shoe to the desired width.

m

Tighten the lock bolt to fit it in the position.

m

Ensure that the edge guide rests against
the wood along its entire length to give a
consistent parallel cuts.

General Cutting

m

When starting, always hold the saw handle
with one hand and the auxiliary handle with
the other hand.

m

Never force the saw but maintain a light and
continuous pressure after completing the cut
allow the saw to come to a complete stop.

m

When cutting is interrupted, resume cutting
by allowing the blade to reach full speed and
then reentering the cut slowly.
