Enter the TOOLS-REMOT
menu of the Licon 1 and press the softkey L-FX to activate
the remote mode of the Licon FX (menu item L-FX must be displayed inverted).
The message “SYNCHRONIZING... PLEASE WAIT“ will appear on the LCD display
of the Licon FX and will disappear again after a few seconds. The two consoles are
now synchronised. If the above message does not disappear, please check the
wiring on the basis of the above wiring plan.
In the fader extension mode, almost all data are processed in the Licon 1. So all
Licon FX console data and the Licon FX configuration are saved by the Licon 1
backup.
After loading of backup data, the consoles are automatically resynchronised, if
necessary.
The Licon FX will automatically carry out a reset of the connecting parameters when
it is separated from the Licon 1.
3.1.1.3 Fader extension mode to Licon 1X
Note
:
Ensure that you have the correct version of the Licon 1X operational
software. Take the software version of your Licon 1X from the TOOLS INFO
menu of the Licon 1X console. For the use of the Licon 1X with the Licon FX as
fader extension, the version number must be equal to or higher than that
displayed during the welcome routine.
If required, load down the necessary software for your Licon 1X from the service
section of our website

. The ZIP file made available to you will also
contain update instructions.
If you wish to use the Licon FX as fader extension to the Licon 1X, connect the
consoles with the USB connecting cable supplied (max. length: 3m)
according to the
illustration below. It is very important that you observe the correct connection
direction as is illustrated below.
Activate this mode paying attention as to how the menu items are displayed in the
menu bar below:
The illustration shows that for this mode the menu item
LIC 1X
is displayed inverted.
If not, press the softkey
LIC 1X
to activate the inversion.
