All transportation costs are the responsibility of the owner. You may need to arrange
for alternative accommodations for some types of repairs. Please be prepared
accordingly.
Parts
Parts are available at most Jayco dealerships or your dealer can order parts for you as
needed. Should you be unable to find a dealer in your local area, contact our Customer
Service Department at 1-877-825-4782 or 1-219-825-0608 and we will assist you in
obtaining parts through an authorized dealer.
Owner’s Responsibility
As a new owner of a Jayco recreation vehicle, you are responsible for regular and
proper maintenance. This will help you prevent conditions arising from neglect that
are not covered by your Jayco Limited Warranty.
Maintenance service should be performed in accordance with this owner’s manual and
any other applicable manuals.
As the owner, it is your responsibility and obligation to return the RV to an authorized
dealer for repairs and service. Reference your Jayco Limited Warranty for additional
information. Because the authorized dealer where you purchased your RV is responsible
for its servicing before delivery, and has an interest in your continued satisfaction, we
recommend that inspection, warranty and maintenance services be performed by the
dealership.
If you are traveling and are unable to locate an authorized Jayco dealer, or an authorized
dealer for the component needing service, please call our customer service office at
1-877-825-4782 or 1-219-825-0608 or contact your selling dealer for assistance.
NOTE:
Service at a non-authorized Jayco dealer should have prior authorization.
You will be asked to return any mechanical parts replaced before reimburse-
ment consideration is made. Unauthorized or improper repairs may void the
warranty on that component.
Please keep your owner’s manual, your copy of your warranty registration form and any
other related papers in your RV.
Chassis Service and Warranty Coverage
Ford and Chevrolet chassis are serviced and warranted by their own manufacturer.
Chapter 4,
The Systems
will explain 12-volt electrical system responsibility, chassis or
RV manufacturer.
Your dealer will fill out two very important warranty forms. First, the
Customer Delivery
Form
as supplied for RV (Jayco) coverage. Second, the
Notification of Start Date
form is
sent to chassis manufacturer upon completion. This form will activate the warranty
coverage on your chassis by date and mileage. Please retain copies of both forms in your
motorhome for any required warranty coverage as needed at home or during travel.
Certain components on your motorhome are built and supplied by the chassis manufac-
turer. Sample item is the battery(ies). When the battery(ies) are labeled as “MotorCraft”
it’s built and supplied by Ford Motor Co., and must be serviced and warranted by Ford
Service personnel at Ford Truck agency. Contact Ford at 1-800-444-3311. Contact
Chevrolet at 1-800-222-1020.
