CENTER SIDE DOOR DISCHARGE CONFIGURATIONS 

 
The center side discharge door is controlled hydraulically from the tractor.  When the door is 
opened, feed will be discharged from the machine onto the ground through a chute. 
 
The door can be raised to any position up to a maximum of 28 inches in height.  Depending 
on the configuration equipped on the machine, the door is located either on the left or right 
hand side of the machine. 
 
In most cases the door will be opened fully to unload the mixed ration.  However, the most 
suitable door opening height may be determined in combination with the ground speed of the 
machine when unloading. 
 
The chute assembly can be raised for transporting or storage purposes.  If the chute is to be 
positioned in the raised position, secure the chute to the door shield assembly using the 
hardware supplied. 
 

Important:  Always ensure that there are no obstacles beneath the chute assembly that 

could cause damage or be damaged when the chute is lowered.
