safety use of the appliances and understand the dangers
involved.
• Keep all plastic bags and packaging components out of the
reach of children. They are potentially dangerous.
• Do not connect the appliance to the mains without checking
that the voltage on the rating plate is the same that the one
you have at home.
• Ensure the plug has an adequate earth base.
• The kettle works with electricity only. Never use the jug on
an electric or gas cooker, nor in a microwave, do not use it
when it has a fissure.
• Never connect without the water level being over the
minimum level, and not going over the maximum level of
the water level indicator.
• If the kettle is too full, the water may splash when it boils.
• Do not use any other liquid or additive than water in the
jug.
• VERY IMPORTANT:
- Never immerse the jug and the base in water or other
liquids.
- Never open the lid when the water is boiling.
• Don’t allow children play with the appliance. Keep the
appliance out of the reach of children.
• Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of
children less than 8 years old.
• The exterior parts of the jug get hot. Use the handle to
manipulate.
• The kettle must only be used with the base provided.
• Disconnect from the mains before removing it from its base.
• Always use with the lid on. Otherwise, the automatic
disconnection system, when the water boils, will not work
and the water will continue to boil until it evaporates
completely.
