3.1 Principle of operation
CTB series current transformers
·are inductive, single-conductor current transformers
that operate according to the transformer principle.
·are used to adapt a primary measured variable to
the nominal input variables of connected measure-
ment devices.
·are, due to the measuring principle, only suitable for
use in AC networks.
