Taking into consideration the assembly
instructions for your base unit (check bus
connection assembly, among other things!),
assemble the modules when the system is
disconnected from the power supply as follows:
1. If not already done, insert the bus connector
(JanBus interface) included in the respective
scope of delivery in the socket on the bottom
of your module.
2. Press your module with bus connector onto
the DIN rail until the bottom latches engages.
3. Slide the contacts of your module bus connector
into the sockets of the base unit bus connector
(or in the sockets of the connected module) so
that the bus connectors (devices) are linked.
Then wire your module and apply voltage to the
base unit (system). The base unit recognizes the
module automatically.
The base unit (UMG 801)
· with current measuring module measures current
exclusively via a current transformer. The current
transformers require basic insulation according to
IEC 61010-1:2010 for the rated voltage of the circuit.
· permits assembly of up to 10 modules.
ATTENTION
During the start-up process, the base unit does
not recognize the module!
If there is no communication to the module, the
module functions are not supported (current
measurements).
· Disconnect your system from the power supply
and check the condition of the bus connector
and the connection of the module to the base unit
(JanBus interface). If necessary, slide the contacts
of the module bus connector into the sockets of
the base unit bus connector (or the connected
module) so that the bus connectors (devices) are
linked.
· If necessary, restart the base unit.
· If the specified measures are unsuccessful, please
