JB NANO
Congratulations on your new JB Nano!
You now have the unique sound of the
award-winning JangleBox compressor, but in a much smaller footprint. This
pocket rocket has all the power of the JB with even greater performance flexibility.
The bold sustain will give your Ric, Tele, Gretsch, Strat — whatever the guitar —
remarkable presence. Unlike pedals that clip or distort the original signal, the JB
Nano expands the compression “sweet spot” to maintain a clean, even tone, with
true bypass.
Ideal for a second, smaller pedal board, or to free up some real estate on your
current board. Don’t use a pedal board? The JB Nano is small enough to just pop
in your guitar case.
Compact, powerful and performance ready, the JB Nano is ruggedly constructed
for demanding pros and aspiring artists alike. Whether you’re looking to get that
Beatles/Byrds chime, never-ending slide sustain, Nashville “squish,” or just a big,
clean boost, the JB Nano delivers the distinctive compression edge.
GAIN
ATTACK
O
As every guitar-and-amp combination is
different for each guitarist, you’ll want to
experiment with the JB Nano settings to get
the sound you prefer. We suggest starting
with the
Gain
and
Attack
knobs turned
“12:00 o’clock” position, then adjusting the
compression to your satisfaction from there.
O
The
Gain
setting adjusts volume and amount
of compression. The
Attack
setting adjusts the
level (intensity) of compression.
O
The right footswitch is a pre-set
treble boost.
O
The JB Nano is designed to expand the
compression “sweet spot” and not produce
any distortion or oscillation. Depending on
your amp settings, you should be able to set
the
Gain
and
Attack
to full volume without
creating any “buzz” with your guitar.
O
When daisy-chaining a series of additional
pedal effects with the JB Nano, we recommend
you start by placing it first in the sequence
(your guitar should plug into the Nano) in
order to take full advantage of its true bypass.
O
If you use a 9V battery to power the JB Nano,
compression will decrease as the battery wears
out. Remove the four screws on the underside
of the box to replace the battery.
The JB Nano is easy to set up
Start by positioning both Gain and
Attack knobs at “12:00 o’clock”
and adjust from there
