When the baby is in the lying down
sideways position, the shape of the
platform means that the baby’s head is
not anywhere near the sides of the car,
this point is important as it protects the
most vulnerable part of the baby in the
event of side impact.
The Matrix Light 2 baby carrier should
be attached to and detached from the
platform in one of the two loading po-
sitions (positions 1 or 3), depending on
which seat the platform is installed on,
or rather, which side of the vehicle gi-
ves access to the platform.
There is a guard (11) to prevent the
Matrix Light 2 baby carrier from being
accidentally installed lying down fa-
cing forwards. This guard also serves
as a support for the baby carrier in the
event of an accident.
To install the platform, read the instruction
manual for your car, as this will indicate
which seats are compatible with the plat-
form. The Matrix platform is compatible
with the ISOfix classes C, D, E, G and F.
The anti-swivel leg (2) is very important for
safety, adjust it correctly so that it is sup-
ported by the floor of the vehicle. If the
support surface for the leg is not the actual
vehicle chassis (storage compartment for
example) do not install the platform in that
place.
